Your typical breakfast dinner — all the classic staples. I opted for the biscuits and gravy and I sorta judge breakfast places based on that dish, because if you can’t make some good B&G, maybe breakfast cafe is not for you. Issaquah Cafe definitely delivered. Very tasty. Quick. Friendly service. Short wait time even with the entire place packed (Sunday morning) biscuits and gravy were wonderful. (Although I did mention to the server I wasn’t that hungry and if the B&G portion would be fine, he didn’t let me know they have half orders) but that wasn’t a deal breaker, just had lots of leftovers for later. Overall classic traditional American dinner vibe, very very busy weekend mornings. Facilities and tables were clean. Will visit again.
My husband eats here when he’s out here for work, and he wanted to bring me by today. I was WILDLY impressed. He told me it was a classic diner breakfast in a strip mall so my expectations were low, but this was so much more. Once you walk in the place is cozy and cute, plus incredibly clean and tidy, which speaks a lot to me. The staff were so kind and attentive. I ordered the half order of the biscuits and gravy and I might have to say… the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever head. The biscuit was clearly homemade and incredible, and the gravy came in a side bowl which was a nice touch to avoid any sogginess. The bacon was FANTASTIC, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. I honestly can’t say I’ve been this impressed by a restaurant in a long long time. Definitely make a stop here!
Waiting time is long I weekends, we happen to find 2 seats up front. My waiter was amazing, he was on top of everything, multi tasking. Overall the coffe, breakfast was so good and tasteful. My lemon blueberry pancakes were delicious
First time there. Heard their rave reviews online with customers saying it’s a long wait on the weekends but worth the wait. Registered online to be seated before arrival. Only waited about 15 mins. The food was delicious, best pancakes ever! They said they home make their own pancakes and syrup. Tasty omelet, large portions. The lemon blueberry pancakes were delicious! Good coffee too. Everyone was friendly. Our waiter Andrew was very nice, informative and attentive and one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Highly recommend Issaquah cafe! We will be stopping next time we come through town. Also heard the biscuits and gravy with corn beef is excellent we will try it next time.
I loved the portions and the quality of the food was delicious. I had the half california omelette with two pancakes - so good and it was not so big but exactly right. We were seated quickly, our server Gabriel was attentive, easy to flag down, and super nice. I loved this place!! It was so beautiful also, I loved the details of the diner, with the pretty posters and cozy lighting. First time but certainly not the last :)
I would give them 10 stars if I could. As a golden gal that grew up in NOLA, this cafe is reminiscent of my glory days. Fully staffed professional galley kitchen and humming servers to feed a legion of guests anticipating their fabulous plated fresh ingredient creations. I had the Avocado Sausage Eggs Benedict with fruit and my beloved had the Two Egg and Pancake combination breakfast. We both had the freshly brewed coffee. This place makes you want to move to Issaquah just to be a regular here!
Very cozy place and atmosphere. The wait to take the order was long although there wasn’t lots of people. The food was made and delivered fast. The food was tasty but greasy. I guess I should expect it when ordering biscuits and gravy with sausage. I’m not sure if I would come back next time.
First time here for their brunch. We had french toast, crepe and waffle. Great food and great service. Definitely will come back again!
